” I don’t feel that any reason– I feel extremely excellent. I feel extremely good, however I guess it’s not a huge deal to get checked, and I– something I would do,” the president continued.
” However, again, I talked to the White Home physician– excellent person, gifted guy. He stated he sees no factor to do it,” Trump stated. “There’s no signs, no anything. And you know what? If there were, you people would be the very first to understand it. You would perhaps even inform me about it.”
The president’s remarks came after White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham stated in a declaration on Monday night that Trump “has not received COVID-19 testing because he has neither had actually prolonged close contact with any recognized validated COVID-19 patients, nor does he have any signs.” COVID-19 is the infected triggered by the infection.
Grisham added that Trump “stays in exceptional health, and his physician will continue to carefully monitor him.”
3 Republican politician House members who recently came in close contact with the president had revealed earlier Monday that they prepared to quarantine themselves after possible exposure to a coronavirus patient.

Rep. Doug Collins of Georgia, who shook hands with Trump on Friday, and Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida, who was on board Air Force One and drove in Trump’s vehicle on Monday, said they were informed they had connected with an individual at last month’s Conservative Political Action Conference who was later on hospitalized with coronavirus.
Rep. Mark Meadows of North Carolina, Trump’s incoming chief of staff, also stated he was under self-quarantine as a precautionary procedure, although he checked negative for the virus.
On Tuesday, Gaetz tweeted that he had “just been notified that my COVID-19 lab result was unfavorable.”
However, he said, “In an abundance of caution, I will stay under self-quarantine at the guidance of physician through Thursday at 2 p.m. I continue to feel great and show no symptoms.”
